The word “Slavery” reminds everybody of old times, when colored skins were obliged to work for the Whites.  However, slavery is still common around the world and continues its path in a modern way. In fact, slavery is a hidden crime and has various forms such as:

1- Domestic slavery

2- Obligatory marriage

3- Organ removal

4-  obligatory labor

5- Sexual exploitation

Slavery is most current in regions misusing low-cost labors in their industries. Based on results of researches, slavery has $20 milliard income yearly[1]. This amount may tempt anyone who doesn’t care humanity. The 2016 Global Slavery Index published by the Walk Free Foundation estimates 48.5 million people across 167 countries are suffering from slavery. Unfortunately, fighting this crime is not easy and need a long-term process since it is not noticed by most people. 58 percent of people in slavery live in five countries: India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and index estimates that the world`s highest prevalence of slavery exists in North Korea where 4.4 percent of its population are enslaved.  North Korea is followed by Uzbekistan with 4.0 percent and Cambodia with 1.6 percent modern slaves is at the 3rd level.

In terms of absolute numbers, India is at the highest level and no country even comes close to it. It is estimated that 18.4 million Indians live in slavery. China with 3.4 million slaves is in the second level and Pakistan, as the third country, contains 2.1 million slaves. Unfortunately, even kids are not safe against modern slavery and are deprived of their first rights like going to school, playing and have to work harder than their ability. On the contrary, the lowest rates of slavery are recorded in Canada, Germany, Singapore and the United States.

These statistics proves The immediate relation between political stability alongside economic wealth and slavery. The existence of slavery is unbelievable by most of the people living in The regions with suitable economic situation.

Politically stable countries with high levels of economic wealth have few people living in slavery with low rates recorded in Canada, Germany, Singapore and the United States.
